Monkey Tail Cactus?

Check out this unusual cactus. At least I think it would be a cactus? Maybe a succulent? Whatever...it's cool! Feels like cool velvet and is really dark red. They grow like crazy too. Everywhere I put them they sprout all over. The thorns are not sharp at all. The whole plant is very soft. I don't know what it's really called, but I call it a monkey tail cactus.
